David is consultant within PwC's Economics & Policy team where he advises business, governments and regulatory agencies. In his role at PwC David has a particular focus on unpacking the commercial and economic impacts of large scale decisions undertaken by state and federal governments and agencies. David holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce with honours in economics and majors in accounting and geography from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
David is a lead member in PwC's LGBTI network - GLEE@PwC - where he has an interest in sharing learnings and research from one of Australia's leading LGBTI employers. This has included having led the development of the 2017 Perspectives on LGBTI+ inclusion in the workplace report, and the business case for the Victorian Pride Centre. David also authored a 2016 PwC study on the economic cost of the marriage equality plebiscite.
Brought up in rural New Zealand where there were limited to no support resources for LGBTI youth, has a keen interest in seeing Minus18's continued growth to be able to reach more youth in rural and regional parts of Australia
