Eva (she/her) is a neurodiverse, trans, queer Kiwi with lived experience of a disability, and a background in LGBTQIA+ volunteering, communications and public service. She is a self-described nerd, unabashed people-person and obsessive dog parent.

Having first fallen into LGBTQIA+ volunteering by accident, Eva has spent most of her professional career moonlighting as an advocate for intersectional queer diversity and inclusion, and is thrilled to be making the leap to a full-time career.

Eva joined the Minus18 family in January of 2021 as the Fundraising Relationships Coordinator. Here, she works with businesses, schools, community groups and members of the public to support fundraising activities. Eva is particularly passionate about working with allies and the broader community to raise awareness, build bridges and bring about change in the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth all across Australia.

Eva previously worked in the public service sector, primarily in education, as well as in the hospitality industry. In her downtime, she can usually be found playing computer games, cooking up a feast, or playing tug-of-war with the dog.

Minus18 is located on the land of the Yalakut Weelam Clan of the Boon Wurrung peoples, Australia’s First People and Traditional Custodians. We acknowledge their continued connection and contribution to land, water and community, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded; this always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
