Trans Awareness Week is an opportunity for individuals, organisations and workplaces to come together to learn about gender diversity, celebrate identity, and take action against discrimination.

It’s a whole week for allies, schools, workplaces, and the trans community ,to learn about gender diversity, celebrate identity, and take action against discrimination.

And the best bit? 100% of trans merch and fundraising for Minus18 goes directly to supporting trans youth through our programs and community partners.

Making friends and having safe community is the key way LGBTIQ youth are able to build confidence and improve their mental health.

Since 2011, Minus18 has supported over 65,000 young people at life-affirming events across Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, providing a space to be their true selves.

We provide peer support through articles, interviews and video content, so young people are able to access help online no matter what part of Australia they’re from – or the support they have from their school or families.

LGBTIQ resources are available free here

Tackling bullying in schools is at the forefront of what we do, with workshops for students and young people, and professional development for teachers.

For workplaces, we deliver high impact training and LGBTIQ professional development to give you the tools you need to drive inclusion in your team.

We’ve got something special here, and we want to spread this message of love and acceptance far and wide.

With your help, we rally schools, businesses and people all over Australia to take action against the bullying and discrimination LGBTIQ people still face today.
