66% (two thirds) of all LGBTQIA+ youth in Australia experience harassment based upon their identity.(Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society, Writing Themselves In 4: Experiences of harassment. Personal Communication, 2021). This needs to end! That is why P&G is launching the Lead With Love campaign in Woolworths in partnership with Minus18, Australia’s charity for LGBTQIA+ young people.

From 09 February 2022 until 15 March 2022, P&G’s Lead With Love Campaign will raise awareness of Minus18’s mission. P&G will donate $50,000 AUD from sales made during this period from participating Fairy, Pantene, Oral-B, Gillette, Venus and Olay products at Woolworths to Minus18. This donation will enable Minus18 to design, produce and distribute LGBTQIA+ Resource kits to 1,250 schools all over Australia. These kits aim to drive the visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community in schools to help fight bullying and discrimination.

DETAILS OF YOUR DONATION

P&G will donate $50,000 Australian Dollars from sales of participating products from Fairy, Pantene, Oral-B, Gillette, Venus and Olay sold at Woolworths during the promotion period. This donation will go towards the creation of 1,250 LGBTQIA+ Resource kits for Schools, which will include:

  • Conversation Card x 10
  • Fold Down Poster x 5
  • Pens x 3 (different styles)
  • Magnets x 3 (different styles)
  • Pride Card (postcard size on heavy paper stock, including thank you to P&G/W&W donation and where to get more info)

These kits will be distributed by Minus18 to schools all over Australia via their school and community networks.

Olay & Pantene is launching the Lead With Love campaign in Chemist Warehouse in partnership with Minus18, Australia’s charity for LGBTQIA+ young people.

From 25 February 2022 until 24 March 2022, $0.10 from every Olay and Pantene products sold at Chemist Warehouse will be donated by Olay and Pantene to Minus 18, with a minimum donation of $10,000 AUD capped at a total value of $15,000 AUD. These donations will enable free access to anti-bullying resources through Minus18 for everyone all over Australia. These resources aim to educate and help fight bullying and discrimination for the LGBTQIA+ community particularly in schools whilst encourage all individuals to be fearlessly confident in their own skin.
