Janvi (she/they) is a queer woman of colour with golden retriever energy and a dream to create a world where everyone is celebrated and people are empowered to thrive, not merely survive.

With over six years of experience in presenting and facilitation in education, mental health, sex education and food insecurity spaces, Janvi prides herself on her ability to engage any group of people no matter the circumstances. She adores creating supporting spaces where others feel comfortable sharing their experiences and opinions respectfully. Both within and outside of their role as Education Presenter, Janvi truly believes vulnerability breeds vulnerability, and thus lives her life as an open book.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Janvi curled up with a book or her crochet hook and yarn, or out connecting with friends new and old.

Minus18 is located on the land of the Yalakut Weelam Clan of the Boon Wurrung peoples, Australia’s First People and Traditional Custodians. We acknowledge their continued connection and contribution to land, water and community, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded; this always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
