As Youth Safety Lead, Jules (she/her) is responsible for upholding Child Safety legislation and policies at Minus18. Jules oversees the safety and inclusion of LGBTIQA+ young people at Minus18's in-person and digital events, and ensures that programs, practices and procedures uphold Child Safety Standards.

In other words: Jules is responsible for maintaining the safety of young people at our life-affirming events.

Jules is a lived experience Youth Worker, with over six years in the Youth & Community Services Sector. With a background in case management, housing and homelessness services, youth work, and crisis outreach support, she brings a unique set of skills to her new role.

Jules is a pansexual Pisces and who loves cats, arts and crafts, and Trixie Mattel. In her spare time, you'll find Jules gardening, reading queer literature, or bingeing Ru Paul's Drag Race.
