Max (he/him) is a vibrant and enthusiastic queer person with a passion for fostering LGBTQIA+ inclusion and allyship across Australia. Growing up in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Max utilises storytelling from the impactful role allies have played within his own life, alongside powerful data to connect audiences to the importance of LGBTQIA+ inclusion.

Drawing on seven years of experience in training and facilitation, Max leads Minus18's renowned team of educators and has worked directly to impact diverse sectors, from a range of workplaces and community organisations, to thousands of teachers and students nationwide. With a confident and charismatic approach, he is dedicated to creating open and accessible spaces where everyone feels supported to learn practical tools on being an active ally in 2025.

When he's not busy educating others, Max enjoys getting his "here if you need" on by playing mixed netball with his team, the Red Hot Chilli Steppers. If he's not on the court, Max will most likely be enjoying a new TV show with a choccy-dipped Scotch Finger.

Minus18 is located on the land of the Yalakut Weelam Clan of the Boon Wurrung peoples, Australia’s First People and Traditional Custodians. We acknowledge their continued connection and contribution to land, water and community, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded; this always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
